Information Technology Update PostalOne! – Improvements Since Feb 2010 Outage March 2010 Keep daily database backup clone (BCV) Implemented twice daily incremental backups (SNAPs) Modified disk/storage management procedures November 2010 Adding third SNAP backup daily Locally mirrored database under construction (Dec 2010) Major new software release New business functionality Upgraded all core software products to more current versions Separated PostalOne! code into modular functional components Increased processing of large eDocumentation files

  4. Information Technology Update PostalOne! Release 25.0 – November 7 Given the magnitude of the PostalOne! changes, the release went reasonably well However, there were some problems that impacted users (external and internal) Mailer View, Postal Wizard, Dashboard, and Reports impacted by slow performance – Corrected on 11/09/2010 eDoc (Mail.dat/MailXML) Overall processing greatly improved for large eDocs Processing suspended for short-period to deploy fixes Import into SASP and generation of Data Quality reports can be delayed up to 24 hours for large jobs. – Correction scheduled for 11/18/2010 Seeing improved performance overall
