  1. 9th December: Anti Corruption Day

  2. Ahead of International Anti corruption day, on 9th december, we realised corruption is kind of vanished from the system. Is it still a term? Corruption seems like more of normal part of routine of each one of us. We have learnt to live with this monster. Corruption, might seem to be a harmless, culprit, but it affects the society in more ways than we can imagine.

  3. Scams that we have got so used to today, in the name of every single commodity or deal, are the result of this very monster. CBI itself is rotting, because of this hugely critical disease, that has gripped the society. If only each one us choose, to say no to this, menace, can the Nation survive. Else chances are bleak. And we don’t know how many of us, have really understood the problem. No one seems to be working, towards eradicating, this one. We have heroes on every other aspects, fighting Cancer, AIDS, pollution etc. But corruption, we don’t really know where and how to start. Well, we might not know a direct solution.

  4. But some simple steps can go a long way. Like the pledge forms, filled by DeraSachaSauda Volunteers. Yes, Some time back, I came to know, about these, online, through social media. Apparently Baba Ram Rahim, had asked his followers in one of his Satsangs, to take pledges against bribes, both giving and accepting. As part of their welfare activities, infact, as part of 133 activities, that Baba Ram Rahim’s followers are engaged in. And to my surprise, thousands have taken pledges, even Govt. officials, have filled pledge forms against accepting bribes.

  5. While, this may look like a small step, but this can really tame the monster, if each one of us, can give up, on the temptation to give in to accepting and giving bribes. We don’t mind giving bribes, as it seems a short cut to get work done.  • Remember each one can make a difference here. Just like DeraSachaSauda followers. These pledges & sticking, for the same, will definitely be fruitful in more ways, than we can imagine.
