Partnership Goals Develop a robust and comprehensive compendium that will serve as the central repository for pediatric-related disaster and emergency information Maintain the collection of links to resources related to medical and public health issues of children in disasters and emergencies
Objectives Consolidate the vast amount of resources available across a variety of organizations Expand available resources to stakeholders Facilitate the use of this resource as a pediatric component of disaster information programs
Partnership is Key An essential component of this compendium will be partnerships and collaborations between organizations and agencies involved in creating and sharing information about children in disasters and emergencies.
Partnership Elements • Help promote the Health Resources on Children in Disasters and Emergencies Web page through their organizations • Prominently display the link on their organization’s disaster-related webpages • Suggest new pediatric disaster preparedness resources to DIMRC as they become available* * (peer-reviewed literature need not be submitted as it will be automatically updated in the searchable database feature)
