  2. PROBLEM STATEMENTWe were given a task to develop an idea of a mobile application from another universities.

  3. Solving the Problem • We started by making some research of mobile apps used by other universities. • We chose mind map application to be developed. • We had the first presentation to express our rough idea. • We came up with a name for our mind map app that is Mind2You. • Discussions between our group members and our coach, Ali Ghalib happened where we discussed how to develop and innovate our idea of mind map app. • Each of our group members were given a task to use one mind map and share the ideas with each of us.

  8. Introduction Mind map is a diagram used to visually organize information. Mind map can be drawn by hand, either as “rough notes” during a lecture, meeting or planning session. Mind mapping tools is popular among students and lecturers. Millions of people use it to clarify thinking, manage complex information, run brainstorming and get work organized. We want all students and lecturers to have the same experience. This application is useful to be developed into a mobile application so that it can be used anytime and anywhere. 9. History • Mind mapping was developed by Buzan in 1970 (Buzan and Buzan, 1996) after reviewing research on the psychology of learning and remembering. According to Buzan and Buzan (1996) : The mind map is an expression of radiant thinking and is therefore a function of the human mind. It is a powerful graphic technique which provides a universal key to unlocking the potential of the brain. The mind map can be applied to every aspect of life.

  10. History How students learn how to develop mind maps • One way we introduce students to mind mapping is by presenting an introductory lecture that includes the history of the approach (Buzan, 1970), the right brain-left brain distinction (linear versus generative or lateral thinking), and some uses for mind mapping. This takes about one hour, then students are involved in one or two hands ± on exercises facilitated by the professor

  11. Objective 1) To make an application that can help members of UniversitiKebangsaan Malaysia to have clear thinking and improve productivity level.2) Specifically to help students in UniversitiKebangsaan Malaysia to improve their academic planning.
