This guide outlines the process for filing online returns for Delhi Value Added Tax (DVAT) at dvat.gov.in. Begin by logging in with your User ID (TIN) and 8-character password. From the menu, select 'online return' to file an original return. Indicate the tax period and complete Form DVAT-16. If your return is revised, fill out Form 1. After saving, go to the history page and print the acknowledgment receipt. Finally, submit the signed copy to the department and keep two copies for your records.
