The GRE Test(Graduate Record Exam) is the standardized test used to get admissions in various graduate schools or business graduate schools in various English speaking countries, especially the United States. The GRE General Test is offered as a computer-based exam administered at Prometric testing centers. The GRE revised General Test, introduced in August 2011, has three sections: Verbal Reasoning; Quantitative Reasoning and Analytical Writing. Calculators are allowed. Total test time is 3-hours, not including the research section. GRE Score: Threescores are reported: Verbal Reasoning on a 130–170 score scale, in 1-point increments; Quantitative Reasoning also on a 130–170 score scale with 1-point increment and Analytical Writing score on a 0–6 score level, in half-point increments. Official scores are mailed in 10–15 days after your test date. Validity of GRE: GRE scores are valid for 5 years. One can request a rescore up to 3 months after your test date.
