Before undertaking the construction of my house, I did a great deal of research as to which cement u2013 PPC or OPC u2013 is the best for use with slabs. The biggest up side of using Pozzolana Portland Cement (PPC) is that it is environmentally-friendly as it consists of fly, which is a waste product of burnt coal, derived from a thermal plant. Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC) offers no such benefit.
