JaVar Myatt-Jones graduated from Morehouse College in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He decided that he wanted to pursue a medical degree and he began applying to medical school. In 2002, he started studying at the Wayne State University School of Medicine. Even though Medical school was very challenging, he succeeded, and earned his medical degree in 2009.
