The University of Health Sciences Antigua campus is in Dowhill, Antigua. UHSA's School of Medicine and Macedonia School of Nursing both have a distinguished history of providing a vigorous education to students of high academic potential since 1982. UHSA has initiatives not found in many of the other schools in our region. Our curriculum is organ system based and allows for an integrated approach to teaching and learning during the basic science years, similar to most U.S. schools. This method of teaching allows for learning in small groups, independent study and the early integration of clinical experiences.
