  2. VGAM(Vein of Galen AVM) 1. Congenital disease 영.유아에서 heart failure,tachycardia등의 증상을 통해발견 2. Normal circulation internal cerebral vein, basal vein을 통하여 Vein of Galen SS(straight sinus),TS(transverse sinus) VGAM internal cerebral vein, basal vein을 통하여 Vein of Galen falcine sinus, TS(transverse sinus)또는 SS(superior saggital sinus) 3. Embolization 이 유일한 치료방법

  4. 2.Classifications • * True vein of Galen aneurismal malformations • * vein of Galen dilatations • 3.Two subtypes • * Choroidal form • : fistula site의 위치가 vein of Galen의 앞쪽에 있으며 • pericallosal artery, anterior choroidal artery(AChA),sub- • apendymal branchs of the thalamoperforating vessels이 • main feeder가 되며 대부분의 type이 여기에 해당된다. • * mural type • : fistula site의 위치가 vein of Galen의 뒤쪽에 있으며 shunt • amount가 적어서 나중에 증상이 나타난다
