Hotel Doors • Plasma membrane is like the hotel doors because it selects which molecules enter the cell, just like doors allow people to come into the hotel.
Manager • Nucleus is like a manager because it controls all the cells functions, just like a manager controls all of the hotel’s functions
Manager’s assistant • Managers assistant is like the Nucleolus because the Nucleolus makes ribesomes and the managers assistant looks at all the new resumes and finds new workers. The managers assistant also follows the managers orders.
Boss • The boss is like a lysosome because he is the one that fires all the unneeded workers just like lysosomes digest worn out organelles.
Chef • Chef’s are like ribosomes because ribosomes make proteins that the cell lives on, and chefs make the food the hotel customers live on
hallways • Hallways are like Rough E.R. because they are a transport system.
Food cart • Smooth E.R. is like a food cart because it stores and transports lipids, just like a food cart stores and transports food.
Room Service • Golgi Apperatus is like a room server guy because he sorts and transports the foods to go to specific rooms just like the Golgi Apperatus sorts and packages proteins.
Foundation of the hotel • Centrioles are what the microtubules of the cell attach to. An analogy could be the foundation of a building, where all the scaffolding goes into.
Bed ZZZZZ • A bed is like a mitochondria because a bed gives you energy, and the mitochondria gives the cell energy
Solar panel • Solar panels are like chloroplasts because they convert sunlight to energy, and chloroplasts convert sunlight to energy as well.
Storage room • Storage room is like a vacuole because it stores stuff, and a vacuole stores stuff.
Hotel Walls • Hotel Walls are like cell walls because they keep unwanted things out and wanted things in.
Security guards • Security guards are like Cytoplasm because they keep the guests in check just like Cytoplasm keeps organelles suspended
