  12. Employee Development – A Story Problem Bob purchased a brand new $50,000.00 Luxury Car and has driven it for 100,000 miles. Bob views the recommended maintenance as a “discretionary expense” and has never taken the car in for service. The oil light and check engine light are now on and the automobile is running “very rough”. What should Bob do? A) Continue to ignore the warning lights, damage the engine and purchase a new Car. B) View service as a necessary part of automobile ownership, budget the expense, and perform the recommended maintenance.
