Rom 1:16-17 NKJV 16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. 17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, "The just shall live by faith."

  3. The Gift = The Free Gift = The Gift of Righteousness

  4. Rom 5:12-14 NKJV 12 Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned — 13 (For until the law sin was in the world, but sin is not imputed when there is no law. 14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those who had not sinned according to the likeness of the transgression of Adam, who is a type of Him who was to come.

  5. Rom 5:15-16 NKJV 15 But the free gift is not like the offense. For if by the one man's offense many died, much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abounded to many. 16 And the gift is not like that which came through the one who sinned. For the judgment which came from one offense resulted in condemnation, but the free gift which came from many offenses resulted in justification.

Rom 5:17-18 NKJV 17 For if by the one man's offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.) 18 Therefore, as through one man's offense judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man's righteous act the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life.

  7. Rom 5:19 NKJV 19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man's obedience many will be made righteous. Just as Adam made you a sinner, CHRIST has made you righteous

"Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness."4 Now to him who works, the wages are not counted as grace but as debt. 5 But to him who does not work but believes on Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness, 6 just as David also describes the blessedness of the man to whom God imputes righteousness apart from works:

  14. 2 Cor 5:21 KJV For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. He committed no sin to be made sin You perform no righteous act to be made righteous

  15. Rom 6:1 -2 KJV 1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? 2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein

  16. 1 Cor 15:34 NKJV 34 Awake to righteousness, and do not sin; for some do not have the knowledge of God. I speak this to your shame. .

  17. Rom 6:15-16 KJV 15 What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. 16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

Heb 11:4 NKJV 4 By faith Abel offered to God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, through which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts; and through it he being dead still speaks. You are righteous (in right standing with God) because of the more excellent offering who is CHRIST
