  20. ALL SENIOR FOOTBALL PLAYERS • You need to stop by the Activities office to pick up a FB Booster Scholarship application. • Applications need to be picked up by March 1, 2012. • Turn in deadline is March 30, 2012

  21. Cheer Bus for…Varsity Girls Basketball • There will be a cheer/pep bus traveling to Liberty High School for the Girls Sectional basketball game versus Smithville. It leaves at 4:40 and cost is $8.00 (this includes admission).

  22. Varsity Girls Basketball • The Grain Valley Girls’ Basketball team beat Liberty North on Saturday night to win the Class 4 District 15 title! • The girls will play Smithville on Wednesday, February 29th, 6:00 pm, at Liberty High School.

  23. MISSOURI STATE WRESTLING RESULTS GRAIN VALLEY- CLASS 2A • TEAM- 6th Place • 160 weight class- 5th Place Zach Hoover • 170 weight class- 6th Place Tucker Pauley • 195 weight class- 2nd Place Wes Freeman • 220 weight class- 6th Place Jakob Drentlaw. The 9 State Qualifiers & Coaches.

  25. Tryouts begin Feb. 27th @ 2:45 (meet in the commons.) • Physicals: you must have a physical by February 27th to participate. • Equipment needs: glove, hat, baseball pants/sweats, indoor and outdoor shoes.

  26. Football Open Gym • Mondays and Thursdays 6:30 am- 7:15. • Open to all positions and anyone interested in playing next year.

  27. Open Gym to All Athletes • Weight Room open Monday-Thursdays after school to all athletes.

  28. Congrats Basketball Players! Congratulations to the MRVC West Champion Boys Basketball Team!! The Eagles finished the regular season with a 20-5 record. District play begins Thursday at 6:00 P.M. in Oak Grove, please come out and support your team!

  29. Signing During Eagle Team Sydney Fairfield and KoleVittetoe will be signing their letters to play college athletics (Fairfield- Softball and Vittetoe- Football).  Please release any Senior who would like to attend, after attendance is taken, to the auditorium.

  30. Wrestling! GV Wrestling finished 10th in the state last weekend and had four medalist: • 2nd place - Wes Freeman • 5th place - Zac Hoover • 6th place - Tucker Pauley and Jakob Drentlaw

  31. Girl’s Soccer Tryouts!! All girls trying out for soccer next week … must have a current physical turned in to the activities office prior to February 27th in order to try-out. On Monday, February 27th, players will meet in Coach B’s room to check in no later than 2:45. Questions? see Coach B.
