  3. (Jas 5:17) Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months.

  4. The DAYS of training to build Elijah

  5. (1Ki 18:1) And it came to pass after many days, that the word of the LORD came to Elijah in the third year, saying, Go, shew thyself unto Ahab; and I will send rain upon the earth.

  6. (Job 14:1) Man that is born of a woman is of few days, and full of trouble. (Job 14:2) He cometh forth like a flower, and is cut down: he fleeth also as a shadow, and continueth not.

  7. (Psa 90:12) So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.

  18. (1Ki 18:2) And Elijah went to shew himself unto Ahab. And there was a sore famine in Samaria.

  20. (1Ki 18:7) And as Obadiah was in the way, behold, Elijah met him: and he knew him, and fell on his face, and said, Art thou that my lord Elijah? (1Ki 18:8) And he answered him, I am: go, tell thy lord, Behold, Elijah is here.

  21. (Gen 2:18) And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him. (Luk9:49-50) And John answered and said, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name; and we forbad him, because he followeth not with us. And Jesus said unto him, Forbid him not: for he that is not against us is for us.

  22. (Ecc4:9-12) Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up. Again, if two lie together, then they have heat: but how can one be warm alone? And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.

  24. (1Ki 18:3) And Ahab called Obadiah, which was the governor of his house. (Now Obadiah feared the LORD greatly: (1Ki 18:4) For it was so, when Jezebel cut off the prophets of the LORD, that Obadiah took an hundred prophets, and hid them by fifty in a cave, and fed them with bread and water.)

  25. (1Ki 18:12) And it shall come to pass, as soon as I am gone from thee, that the Spirit of the LORD shall carry thee whither I know not; and so when I come and tell Ahab, and he cannot find thee, he shall slay me: but I thy servant fear the LORD from my youth.

  26. (1Ki 18:8) And he answered him, I am: go, tell thy lord, Behold, Elijah is here. (1Ki 18:9) And he said, What have I sinned, that thou wouldest deliver thy servant into the hand of Ahab, to slay me?

  27. (1Ki 18:12) And it shall come to pass, as soon as I am gone from thee, that the Spirit of the LORD shall carry thee whither I know not; and so when I come and tell Ahab, and he cannot find thee, he shall slay me: but I thy servant fear the LORD from my youth.
