Enhancing Workforce Development Through Continuing Personal and Professional Development (CPPD)
This document outlines the CPPD framework led by Dr. Marilyn Plant and her project team, including Sean Farran, Katie Adams, and Nate Hill. It emphasizes the significant need for a review, as over 90% of the budget is currently allocated towards the future workforce while minimal resources support the development of the existing workforce. The report discusses current funding allocation methods, examples of direct and indirect distributions, and the engagement process with stakeholders, including CCGs and higher education institutions. It signals a clear pathway towards strategic investment in workforce training.
