  4. Spines shipped since last year • Fall in November due to delay in spines reaching CERN shipping problem • 6 months with > 180spines UK-V meeting, Lancaster

  6. Delivery from IHEP to CERN • IHEP making inners from new order • 60 Middles from original order still to come UK-V meeting, Lancaster

  7. New contract • All new contracts were signed last December • Extra TPG • All material has been delivered • ISTC • Delay see next slide • Contract with IHEP to machine parts and assembly spines • Paid and money at IHEP UK-V meeting, Lancaster

  8. ISTC contact • Covered extra shipping costs and new ceramics for extra order • Signed on time BUT • Contract LOST between CERN and ISTC during Christmas holiday • New copy sent, invoiced raised and CERN paying • Delay due to payment taking time • ISTC won’t/can’t work without payment taking place • Markus Nordberg has pushed CERN finance to speed up the process. • In the meantime • Can’t use DHL as custom papers demand shipping takes place via ISTC. • Spines been sent by hand (thanks to Sasha Cheplakov for help) over 100 this year so far. • Some of the extra material purchased from Glasgow account • Will be a little tight if delay is longer than 2-3 weeks.
