Correlation of Fluid Volume Changes in Residual Limbs Across Morning and Afternoon Sessions

This study investigates the relationships between rates of fluid volume change in residual limbs throughout a single day. It evaluates correlations between morning (AM) and afternoon (PM) session data, finding that AM data correlates moderately with between-session data (r=0.8), while PM data shows a strong correlation (r=0.9). The findings suggest that residual-limb volume fluctuations vary significantly within the day, highlighting the importance of timing in rehabilitation assessments. The research is detailed in Journal of Rehabilitation Research and Development.
