  5. Questions from Chapters • How do you train/support Education Committee members in designing strong programs and working effectively with panelists? • What do Chapters do to help members verify participation in education events/webinars that count toward CFRE credit? • Has your chapter worked together to bring speakers into your region, and planned a “road show”? Is there a potential for cost savings in this model? • How successful have you been in securing sponsorship for Educational Programming, and what benefits are being offered?

  6. Questions from Chapters • What benefits are provided for presenters at education programs? • What have been your best attended topics in recent years? • How are your full day conferences performing in terms of attendance? Are you seeing the numbers decline, stay the same or increase? • How are you incorporating the use of technology in programming? Are you making programs accessible via the web so to include participants who cannot attend in person?

  7. Questions from Chapters • We have been experimenting with holding concurrent networking breakfast roundtables in multiple counties (Greater Philadelphia region consists of five counties). The topic and format is the same for each session, and the feedback from attendees has been positive. Are you doing this and are you making attempts to link roundtables for a portion of each session via Skype, conference call, etc.? • We get a lot of requests to include more advanced professionals programming in our schedule, and when we do just that, we don’t get the expected attendance. How you dealing with this?

  8. Questions from IHQ • Talk about a positive experience you had using an AFP IHQ product discussed earlier • How does your chapter generate attendance at webinars? • Do you have different price points for members and non-member education session attendees? Does it increase revenue?

  9. Future Strategic Conversation Topics • Communications Chair – August TBD • Diversity Chair – September 18th • Next Generation – October 2nd

  10. Thank you for your time and involvement!
