What Is Servant Leadership?

What does u201cServant Leadershipu201d mean and what does it take to become a servant leader?

Traditional leadership focuses on the hierarchy in an organisation and the perceived power held at the top levels, whereas servant leadership focuses on how the leader can best serve the people around them in order to empower them.

This can take a shift in mindset from a leader who is new to the servant way of leadership. An awareness of that the people around you perform better when their needs are met on a human level, as opposed to a spreadsheet.

Although profit and business growth are important for business sustainability, the empowerment and bringing out the best in people are the key leadership traits of servant leaders - it does not however mean that the leader is a slave to to their teamu2019s needs - Itu2019s about being aware of them, guiding the, and allowing personal growth for all involved.

This will allow for personal growth, not only for other team members, but also for the leader. This will in turn assist the growth of the business.

Visit for more:
https://waking-giants.com/leadership-coaching/
https://waking-giants.com/what-is-servant-leadership/
https://waking-giants.com/developing-your-leadership-mindset/
