Scoutmaster Rich Hubbard ginanrich@comcast.net (978) 952-2949 Committee Chair Bob O’Neill bob_and_mary@verizon.net (978)486-0602 Web www.troop1littleton.org Open to all boys between the ages of 11 and 17 A Scout Is Camping and Other Activities We go on monthly trips that include camping, hiking, biking, skiing, fishing, climbing, sporting events and just about anything else that the boys would like to do. We also attend High Adventure camps such as Sea Base in the Florida Keys. Troop 1 Littleton Boy Scouts of America Sponsored by the Congregational Church And Serving Our Community Since 1918 Share the Adventure! Each summer we spend a week at Camp Wanocksett in Dublin NH. The boys play games and sports, earn merit badges, canoe, swim and have an awesome time!

  2. 2013 – 2014 Program Schedule September Theme: Cycling Outdoors: Connecticut River Canoe Trip 13th – 15th Meetings: 10th, 17th, 24th October Theme: Chess Outdoors: Cape Cod Camping and Biking 12th – 13th Meetings: 1,8,15,22,29 Family Night: 1st November Theme: Public Speaking Outdoors: Prouty Woods - Iron Chef 2-3 Meetings: 5, 12, 19, 26 Activity: Flag Retirement 11th December Theme: Game Design Meetings: 3, 10, 17 Activity: Laser Tag 14th January Theme: Snow Sports Outdoors: Down Hill Ski Trip 11th – 12th Meetings: 7, 14, 21, 28 Activity: CoCo Key Water park 21th Family Night: 28th February Theme: Catch Up (Complete Partials) Outdoors: Windblown X-C and Snowshoe TBD Snow Tubing 11th Meetings: 4, 11, 25 Activity: Scout Sunday 2nd MB College 8th, 22rd Our Commitment Our goal is provide an active, safe and FUN environment where boys learn, develop character, leadership, and build lasting friendships. We also recognize many Eagle Scouts along the way. March Theme: Leave No Trace Outdoors: WanocksettCabin Camping 15th– 16th Meetings: 4, 11, 18, 25 Activity: Pancake Breakfast 22nd MB College 8th April Theme: Backpacking Outdoors: New York City 5-6Apr Meetings: 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 Family Night: 1 May Theme: Hiking Outdoors: White Mtns 4K Ft Peaks 17-18 Meetings: 6, 13, 20, 27 Activity Memorial Day Parade 26th June Theme: Fishing Outdoors: Boston Harbor Island Camping 14-15 Meetings: 3 (Planning Meeting for Next Year) Family Picnic 10th July Outdoors: Camp Wanocksett – July 6th– 12th August Outdoors: Camping Trip 2nd – 3rd September Theme: Railroading Outdoors: Camping Trip 13th – 14th Meetings: 16, 23, 30 Meetings Meetings are held on Tuesday nights from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the Russell Street School Cafeteria/Gym Trips, meetings and events are planned and organized by the Scouts with the help of adult leaders.
