Exploration of VHL-Related RCC4 Cell Line Differences in HIF1α and HIF2α Expression
DESCRIPTION
This study investigates the influence of von Hippel-Lindau (VHL) status on hypoxia-inducible factor (HIF) expression in RCC4 renal cancer cell lines. We analyze RCC4 cells with and without VHL suppression (RCC4.+VHL and RCC4.-VHL), focusing on the levels of HIF1α and HIF2α, both measured at 120 kDa. Understanding these differences can shed light on the roles of VHL in renal cell carcinoma and provide insights for potential therapeutic targets in the management of the disease.
