  5. Fee Payment • There is provision for direct debit from your credit card. This will occur on the 22nd of each month providing you with the 5% discount. • ** You will need to fill out the direct debit form in the 0809 info kit. ** This will cover you from the 1/5/08. • If the monthly training fee is paid after the 1st of the month a 10% administration charge will be added to the swimmers account. • Team fees credits for medical / family reasons must comply with info provided in the 0809 info kit. (Page 18) • Please use theTEAM FEE ADJUSTMENT FORMto gain team fee credits.   7. Surf iT Costs $77.25 Training Fee per month $73.39 per month with 5% discount

  8. Surf iT • Swimmers in this team may be aiming to achieve a position in the State Development Team, ASC premiership teams, ASC relay teams or are competitors at surf and triathlon. The team provides opportunities for swimmers to train in a general fitness environment and be non competitive as recreational members of the ASC. • The training session’s emphasis will be upon aerobic development & social interaction. Swimming Training Times Monday 6:30 -7:30pm Tuesday Wednesday 6:30 -7:30pm Thursday Friday 6:30 -7:30pm

  10. Junior Team The first of the competitive swimming teams in the Arena Swim Club. Swimmers who graduate from the Arena LTS Marlin Teams would join this team. The main focus of this team is to improve the technique, starts and turns of the team member. It is recommended that all swimmers move from the Arena LTS Marlin Teams to the Arena Swim Club Junior Team. Swimming Training Times Monday 4:00 - 5:00pm Tuesday 4:00 - 5:00pm Wednesday 4:00 - 5:00pm Thursday 4:00 - 5:00pm Friday 4:00 - 5:00pm

  11. Intermediate Team Costs $102.00 Training Fee per month $96.90 per month with 5% discount

Intermediate Team • The Intermediate Team is a bridging team to assist the junior swimmer to the development team. • Once the swimmer has reached this level they will be developed as IM competitors. • Emphasis in this group is towards preparing for their long term development. This team will initiate building a high level of aerobic capability to allow the swimmer the best opportunity to train in the development team. Training Times • Monday 5:00 – 6:30pm • Tuesday 5:00 - 6:30pm • Wednesday 5:00 – 6:30pm • Thursday 5:00 – 6:30pm • Friday 5:00 – 6:30pm

  13. Development Team Costs $118.50 Training Fee per month $112.57 per month with 5% discount

  14. Development Team Swimmers in this group are being prepared for their long term development. This team is about building a high level of aerobic capacity to allow the swimmer the best opportunity to compete as a national age group swimmer in the coming years. Swimmers of the ages 10 to 13 will make up the majority of this team. The swimmer will be prepared to race at State Junior and/or State Age Championship level. The workload and expectations of the swimmer will increase. Swimming Training Times Monday 5:00 – 6:30pm Tuesday 5:00 - 7:00pm Wednesday 5:00 – 6:30pm Thursday 5:00 – 6:30pm Friday 5:00 – 7:00pm Saturday 6:00 - 7:30am

  15. State Development Team Costs $118.50 Training Fee per month $112.57 per month with 5% discount

State Development Team • Swimmers in this team should be aiming to achieve a positive development in their competitive swimming whether it is for competing at national / state level, fitness, social interaction or as cross training for other sports. Eg; surf, football etc. • The swimmers are expected to show the level of commitment recommended by the Team’s Primary Coach’s to gain their personal goals. If consistently unable to achieve a positive development in their competitive swimming the swimmer will move to the Surf iT Team. Swimming Training Times • Monday 5:20 - 7:30am • Tuesday 5:20 - 7:30am • Wednesday 6:30 – 7:30pm • Thursday 5:20 - 7:30am • Friday 5:00 -7:00pm

  17. State Team Costs $143.00 Training Fee per month $135.85 per month with 5% discount

  18. State Team • Swimmers in this team must be aiming to achieve a position in the National Program with their competitive swimming. The swimmers are expected to show the level of commitment recommended by the Team’s Primary Coach’s. • It is expected that swimmers in this team attend all of the training sessions to advance beyond the State Team to the National Program. If consistently unable to attend all sessions the swimmer will move to the SDT.   20. National Program Swimmers in this program are aspiring to achieve at the highest possible level with their competitive swimming (National Open or Australian Age Championship standard). The swimmers are expected to show the level of commitment recommended by the Coaching Program Coordinator. If consistently unable to attend all sessions mutually planned for and aspire to achieve at the highest possible level with their competitive swimming the swimmer will move to the State Team or SDT. National Program • 0809 Initial Team Positions • Nat Pro Team • All 0708 swimmers in the Nat Pro will begin season 0809 in the State Devo Team until their mutual training plan is set between themselves / parents & coach. • This should take NO MORE than 1 WEEK. • All prospective 0809 Nat Pro swimmers WILL NEED to fill out the GOAL SHEET (PAGE 5) in the 0809 info kit by the 6/5/08; the start of the 0809 season at Arena. • NO GOALS = NO NATS

All Teams Training Times • General AM weekday sessions start time for all teams = 5.20AM with finish at 7.30AM. • **AM & PM training sessions may be rescheduled at the coaches discretion to optimise training and racing performances. • Due to school bookings the weekday AM sessions may revert to the 4.50AM start for February and March in 2008.

  24. National & State Qualifying Race Session Time Trials • They will be held every 2/3 weeks continuously with a break in December and January. • They will be for all ASC swimmers (Jnrs Invite only). • Warm up will begin at 4.20 with a 5PM race start. • The Time Trials need to finish by 7PM. • Format will be set by the coaching staff. • Parents, your assistance is required otherwise it wont work. • If your child is swimming I expect you to help out. • Format may be changed to promote gaining National Qualifying times.

  25. ASC - Season Breaks0809 • Season 07-08 closes after the PM session on the 11/4/08. April Team Fees = Pro Rata • Season 08-09 starts at the PM session on the 6/5/08. May Team Fees = Pro Rata • July Break Final session AM Saturday 5/7 Start session PM Monday 14/7 Month fees = Pro Rata • October Break Final session PM Friday 26/9 Start session AM Monday 6/10 Month fees = Pro Rata

Arena Swim ClubTraining Teams • Team lists will be on the coach’s notice board and at – www.arenaswimclub.com.aufrom the 12/3/08. • RECEPTION WILL ACCEPT 0809 MEMBERSHIP FORMS FROM 9AM THURSDAY 13th March 08– please do not go to reception before coz they can’t register you. • Surf iT & Junior Team numbers may be capped during the season. • First In, First Served. • #’s to be capped as season progresses.

  27. Arena Swim ClubInfo kits • The Info Kit will be displayed on the Coach’s Notice Board from the 12/3/08. • The Info Kit will be on www.arenaswimclub.com.au from the 12/3/08. This will require you to print the ASC Membership, direct debit & Medical forms out to take to reception at Arena. Reception will have a roll with each swimmers team position. • Members not online. Please see the ASC office from the 12/3/08 and they will provide you with an ASC 0809 Membership form.
