History of Eta Kappa Nu • Started in 1904 at University of Illinois Urbana/Champaign by Maurice L. Carr • Over 200 chapters all over the U.S • Started in 1910 at UW Madison as Theta chapter • Includes many famous engineers • Gordon Moore, Jerry Sanders, Amar Bose, Harry Nyquist, John Bardeen (1928)

Requirements 1.) Fill out an application form we will send via email. Send it back to us at hkn@cae.wisc.edu. 2.) Pay a $65 membership fee Make checks payable to “Eta Kappa Nu” • Please drop it off in the Eta Kappa Nu Office (M1094 ECB) or in the mailbox. • Financial assistance is available, please email hkn@cae.wisc.edu.
Requirements 3.) Tutoring Service (Two Hours) - Please sign up with our tutoring coordinator, Travis Dowden (dowden@wisc.edu) 4.) Professional Interaction Talk to one of the ECE professors and fill out the survey provided by us 5.) Attend the initiation ceremony April 19, 2008 Saturday at 10:30am 1610 Engineering Hall
