Service Delivery Model • Before and after school care • All nine elementary schools and one middle school • Activities for students include art and crafts, games, recreation, nature, music, drama, story time, reading, science, and field trips. • Also on certain non-school days • These activities are delivered through: • Small Group Time (Planning and implementing activities around the 16 students assigned to the group) • Large Group Time (2-3 groups combine to participate in active movement activities) • Work Time (Students are offered activities by individual areas of interest)

  3. Purpose of the Program • Student and/or stakeholder needs addressed by the program • Before- and after-school care • Care on non-school days such as school holidays, conference days, early release days, and inclement weather days

  4. Progress Toward Previous Program Goal PREVIOUS GOAL: The School Age Care Program will decrease staff turnover from 24% to 20%. RESULTS: The program decreased staff turnover from 24% - 22%.

  6. Goals to be Evaluated • Goals of the program • The Park Hill School Age Child Care Program will provide a safe and caring environment. • The Park Hill School Age Child Care Program will provide development and guidance in physical, cognitive, communication, creative and social skills.
