Lecture 19 • In the previous lecture, we discussed static and dynamic balancing of rotating parts • Main difference between static and dynamic balancing?? • Specifically, we looked at a few examples of shafts with disks • We were asked to balance the shaft by adding masses to one or more of the disks • Let’s look at similar, but different examples…
