5 Natural & Gentle Ways to Brighten Skin Clear Skin – A dream?? It is?? In today’s scenario wherein there is immense pollution and stress it gets very difficult or we can say it is now day by day becoming a dream to maintain clear skin. No matter how religiously you follow your skin brightening regimen or you use uneven skin tone products, the pressure of office, peers, friends and targets takes a toll on your skin. So does that mean getting clear skin or healthy skin is a dream buying uneven skin tone products or paying heavy chunks of your hard-earned money to the salons!! No, this is not the case. But with just a little bit of consistency, you can achieve your dream skin and that too with the ingredients which are right in your kitchen.
1. Multani Mitti or Fuller’s Earth Multani mitti is a very common and natural way to get clear and brighter skin. You just need to make a smooth paste by mixing it with rosewater or raw milk or even water. Wash your face with water, pat dry, and apply the paste on your skin. Let it dry for some time but make sure it doesn’t crack on your skin. Wash it with water and pat it dry. Don’t forget to put on your moisturizer. But remember this is for people who are having oily skin, not for those who are having dry skin. One more thing, use it twice a week, not more than that! 2. Honey with coffee and lemon One of the best remedy for clear skin is a mixture of Honey with coffee and lemon. To make this paste you will need Rs. 2 Nescafe coffee sachet (I prefer this for accurate measurement), 1 teaspoon honey, and 4-5 drops of lemon. As lemon is a natural dark spot corrector, honey gives good moisture and coffee is best known for its brightening effect. Give it a good mix and then apply it on your face. This is a good pack for dry skin.
3. Honey with milk and lemon For this, mix 1 teaspoon of honey and one tablespoon of milk and lemon juice. Apply this mixture on your cleansed face. Let this mixture sit on your face for about 20 minutes, and rinse with lukewarm water. Remember lemon is a natural dark spot corrector, but that doesn’t mean it should be rubbed directly on your skin! 4. Sandalwood Grab a bowl, add 2 teaspoons of sandalwood powder, add rosewater and make a paste. Apply this on your face and neck area evenly. Keep this for 7-10 minutes, or till it dries. Wash it and pat dry. 5. Aloe Vera 1 tablespoon of aloe vera gel mix it with 2 tablespoons of milk cream and adjust a pinch of turmeric. Combine all this into a smooth paste and apply it over your face and neck. Wash it after 20 minutes. And apply your favourite moisturiser.
