  3. What Is Occupational Health? • Occupational health is the effect of work on health, and the effect of health on work. It plays a vital role in helping employers care for and understand the needs of their employees whilst enabling employers to manage and reduce sickness absence levels and optimise staff performance and productivity through a proactive approach to a healthy happy workforce • Occupational health is a vital component of HR policy, enabling employers to understand and comply with Health and Safety legislation and to ensure workplace risks are effectively managed

  4. + What We Do? • We advise employers as to the possible effects of working practices on health working closely with Health and Safety to minimise any potential risks • We offer advice on subjects such as the correct use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) in order to maximise the effectiveness of the systems put in place for employees health and safety • We implement proactive health promotion workshops such as lifestyle, stress management and drug and alcohol awareness employee programs • We implement wellbeing services that are designed to promote the long-term health of employees both at work and at home

What We Do Cont.... • We implement statutory Health Surveillance programs in accordance with current legislation to effectively and confidentially care for employee health and wellbeing during the course of their employment on behalf of the employer • We manage and assess existing health problems and offer support and advice for employees • We support employees sickness absence needs by assessing and advising on early diagnosis and fast tracking where possible. We also assess and advise on the effectiveness of treatments in order to provide prognosis, time scales and back to work plans that are sympathetic to your health needs
