  6. Time Machine • A complete back-up system • Stores an up-to-date copy of all your Mac’s files on an external hard drive • Able to search back into past dates of activity for certain files • The application checks your Mac once per hour and backs up all changed data

  7. Back to My Mac • With access to the internet, you are now able to connect to your primary Mac • Uses screen sharing technology to connect the two systems • The data is secure through encryption technologies
