As we approach the big day for your final presentations, let's focus on essential skills and organization. Begin by self-assessing using the individual writing rubrics and the Listening & Speaking rubric. Observe the speaking skills highlighted in the left column that reflect your writing sections. Assign yourself a presenter to listen to as we move forward. In our remaining group work, review the visual medium elements and organize your final papers and rubrics. Ensure you are professionally dressed and ready to present your well-researched ideas. We look forward to your success!

Final logistics before the big day • Take out individual writing rubrics; please self-assess. • Take out “Listening & Speaking Rubric.” • Look at the left column. You will notice that these speaking skills actually orally represent what was asked of you in your writing sections already. Therefore, if you share your written section – close to verbatim – you will have already demonstrated these speaking skills! • Let’s review these skills now. • Next, let’s look at right column of hand-out. You should notice what an active listener should be able to hear and discern. For each skill, you will be assigned one person to listen to and judge according to one skill area. • Now, let’s proceed to assign which presenter you will be listening to for which category.
Remaining 30 minutes of class: GROUP WORK: • Review what elements are critiqued as a part of your visual medium • Organize your Final papers and rubric in order from top to bottom, accordingly: • Final paper • Group Rubric • Individual Writing Rubrics according to the order of the written sections presented in the final paper • Finalize visual medium • Make flashcards, semi-memorize your content • EMAIL VISUAL MEDIUM TO MS. MO BY ______________. • COME PROFESSIONALLY DRESSED TO THE NEXT CLASS! I hope you go big (or go home!). I hope you are in this to WIN! We look forward to hearing your ideas and research!
