  4. TANPURA It is a long necked drone lute is a chordophone from the lute family of instruments . It is a four or six stringed fretless Instrument with a long hollow neck and rounded body.

  5. Harmonium It belongs to the family of free reed aerophones.It is a small tabletop size,organ with bellows at the back that is pumped by one hand while the other hand plays the keyboard.

  6. FLUTE It is also known as bansuri.It is one of the oldest musical instrument of India.This wind instrument is a simple cylindrical tube made of bamboo of uniform bore with number of holes.

  7. PAKHAVAJ It is a type of a drum and is an important percussion instrument in Indian classical music. It is cylindrical instrument that is made up of wood and has two surfaces.On the sides of the instrument there are a number of wooden blocks under braces which are used to tune the instrument.

  8. TABLA PAIR’S It is basically a set of two drums known asDayan(right)of the tabla and the Bayan (left) or the Duggi.Tabla is a cylindrical,wooden drum made of black wood and played with right hand.duggi the left hand drum is made of metal,wood,ceramic has slightly conical and bowl shape.

  9. SITAR Sitar comes under the category of a chordophone in the lute family.Sitar has necked crafted from toon or teak wood and a resonator carved from a large seasoned gourd.
