RESIDENTIAL ENERGY PROGRAM: Montgomery County works with residents to reduce energy use, switch to clean energy, and lower our emissions as a community.

  8. Renewable Energy • Solar Co-Ops • Take advantage of a group of homeowners’ bulk-purchasing power to get discounted pricing and a quality installation. • Community Solar • Photovoltaic (PV) systems placed elsewhere but provide the benefits of solar electricity to participating subscribers.

  9. EV Charging Stations The charging station must be installed in the garage or on the wall of the house. MEA has anElectric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) rebate. Permits go through DPS
