With over 330 days of sunshine a year, Cyprus epitomizes the ideal weather of the region, with something to offer every month of the year. About Cyprus Cyprus packs a remarkable array of sights and attractions into such a small space: museums and archaeological sites, throbbing beach resorts, medieval fortresses, age-old temples and Cool Mountain. Its remarkably rich legacy in archaeological treasures and developed tourism infrastructure make Cyprus one of the most attractive meeting places of the world. Cyprus is a full EU member, a member of the United Nations, the Council of Europe and the British Commonwealth, using the Euro (€) as the official currency. English is the second most spoken language, with French and German following. With extensive airline connections, professional and mature hospitality industry, extensive conference facilities and complete support, Cyprus offers a secure environment for all.

The city of Larnaca is well known for its picturesque seafront, which includes rows of palm trees. Larnaca Marina is one of the four official entry points, by sea, to Cyprus. The city has valuable sites such as the ruin of Ancient Kitium, the Church of Lazarus, the Hala Sultan Tekke, and the Old Aqueduct known as "The Kamares" or even the Salt Lake close to the Airport with the flamingoes. Larnaca combines historic and cultural treasures, with modern galleries and museums, theatres and night life that can make it an attractive destination for locals and tourists.
