  3. Why I Chose My Animal? This is why I chose my animal. Gray wolves are a cool animal because they jump very high. Gray wolves run very fast because they have strong legs.

  4. Appearance A gray wolf has cool characteristics. A gray wolf can run up to its prey and eat it with its sharp teeth and it can sniff its prey so it can find it. The gray wolf’s tail is bushy and that’s good because it can hide in the gray tree trunk and some of the black on him can hide too! The eyes help it see his prey and the ears help it find its prey. Gray wolves have good bodies.

  5. Habitat Do you know where a gray wolf lives? They live everywhere except tropical and deserts. They stay in a pack and they live in dens. Some of them live in zoos and forests. Gray wolves have cool homes.

  6. Diet Gray wolves are carnivores. They eat deer, beavers, moose, sheep, birds, fish and horses. At the zoo they eat rabbits. They really like meat and they can find dead meat to eat. Now you know what it eats

  7. Family Gray wolves stay by a pack. Gray wolves keep in touch by howling and they breed in February-March. Gray wolves have 5 pups and they stay in a pack. One gray wolf guards the pups outside.

  8. Predator/Prey/Adapt Danger! Danger! Stay away from me! Gray wolves hunt a lot of animals like: sheep, horse, rabbits, bears and they eat meat too. If a coyote gets too close to a gray wolf it might growl and if it gets closer it might attack so it can keep the pup safe! The gray wolf is a top predator.
