Inquisitiveness- Peter asked a lot of questions, in fact he asked more questions than all the disciples combined! “The best problem solvers are people who are driven by an unquenchable enthusiasm for knowing and understanding things.”

Initiative- Peter not only asked questions; he was usually the first one to answer any question posed by Jesus Christ. “If a man is wired for leadership, He will have drive, ambition and energy.”

Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for to devour. 9 Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings.

Courage- as seen in the prophecy of Peter’s death, John 21:18 Acts 4:18-20 18 Then they called them in again and commanded them not to speak or teach at all in the name of Jesus. 19 But Peter and John replied, "Judge for yourselves whether it is right in God's sight to obey you rather than God. 20 For we cannot help speaking about what we have seen and heard."

  20. THE MAKING OF A LEADER Peter, the Apostle with the Foot-Shaped Mouth Luke 22:31-32 Conclusion: Peter had been transformed from SIMON into ROCK, becoming the man Christ wanted him to be. Because of the Holy Spirit’s work in his heart, he did become a great leader.
