Team History: Western Qualifiers @ Gainesville MS: 12th place, Design Award PWCS Roboticon@ Forest Park HS: 10th place, Design Award VEX World Championship @ Anaheim, California: 45th place

  4. WHAT IS THE ENGINEERING NOTEBOOK? Any ideas?

  5. The Engineering Notebook An engineering notebook is a full recording of a team's robotics season; your design process. Keeping up with the engineering notebook is vital to the team and judges at competitions. What you record in there is helpful for when your team needs to look back on a certain day, find certain measurements, look back on past designs to improve, etc. Plus, a detailed and organized engineering notebook can bring your team to States/Worlds.

  6. The Contents Requirements Other Tips Use tabs to divide the notebook and mark important dates and notes. Use a black ink pen Use a pencil for sketching Write in all caps. Paste pictures well and outline with a black ink pen or marker. Get creative and keep it neat! Make sure every team member works on the notebook. Teamwork is ESSENTIAL. • Biographies: Individual and Team • Table of Contents • Entries -Task & Reflection -Notes -CAD/Sketches -Program samples -Pictures
