  4. BASIC STEP 1Get God’s WORD IN You a.Read, Understand, Believe God’s Word; (Heb 4:12)

  5. b. “Hearing” the Word (Rhema) “Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word (Rhema) of God” (Rom 10:17)

  6. Examples of “Hearing”PAUL • Acts 16: 16 • Casting demon of fortune telling • Acts 13: 8 • Blinding of Elymas the Sorcerer • Acts 28: 18 • Healing of Publius’ father (on Malta)

  7. How does this process of “Hearing” take place? “Hear” by c. Meditating (Heb: “Hagah”) on the Word (Jos 1:8-9) Mutter, Speak, Pray, “chew” on the Word repeatedly

  8. As you mutter, d. Confess (Homo-logos) the Word in your heart, You agree in your heart with what the Word of God says (Rom 10:9,10)

  9. e. Let the Word drop into your spirit: “Believe” the Word in your heart “…..Does not doubt in his heart but believesthat those things he sayswill be done” (Mk 11: 23)

  10. Confess the Word the Word with your mouth as a “done thing” “He will have whatever he says” (Mk 11:23) Say what God says! (e.g. 1 Pet 2:24, Rom 10:10)

  11. Para-STEP 1 Know the Reality of Forgiveness of sins in your life You are a new creation! (1 Cor 5:17, Is 43:25)

  12. Para-STEP 2 Live in God’s Righteousness (2 Cor 6:14, James 5:16)

  13. Para-STEP 3 Be Filled with the Holy Spirit and Keep praying in the Spirit (Acts 4:31, Jude 20)

  14. BASIC STEP 2 Exercise Your Faith (2 Tim 1:7) Spelt R.I.S.K
