Interview • Tips on telephone interview: • Keep your resume and company information near the phone • Go into a quite room, sit in a chair and focus • Avoid over-familiarity • Allow the interviewer to talk most of time • Be aware of giving yes/no answer • Be factual • It is not a formality but a real interview

Before the interview • Note time and place of interview as well as name of interviewer (s) • Arrive early but no more than 15 minute • Bring an extra copy of your resume • Be prepared to furnish a typed reference sheet if requested • Dress professionally and clean • Treat everyone you meet with respect • Enter with positive attitude • Be yourself • Be prepared with question to ask the interviewers

During interview • Begin by putting candidate at ease by giving some information about company • Followed by some question about your background and some open-ended one • This is your opportunity so answer completely • Communicate the information that you believe that interviewer needs to know • Do not discourage if the interview seem to be progressing negatively

  26. After Interview Emphasize your interests Ask omitted questions Critique yourself after the interview Send a thank you message within a week Reestablish contact if you didn’t hear response by the notification date by a follow-up letter
