Wine & Gourmet Asia Macau 2008 • Taking place for the second time in Macau • 4-day Gastronomic Event involving top Macau hotels • Held in conjunction with 3-day trade exhibition • In collaboration with major establishments (Hosting Establishments) in Macau, such as Crown Macau, MGM Macau, The Venetian Macao-Resort-Hotel, Four Seasons Macau and Wynn Macau • A gathering of gastronomic maestros (Masterchefs and Winemakers) around the world • Positioning Macau as a Gourmet Destination

  3. Wine & Gourmet Asia Macau 2008 • 2 to 3 Masterchefs • 1 Three Michelin Star Chef • 2 Wineries • 4 to 5 Hosting Establishments and Venue Hosts

  6. Joint media event for Wine & Gourmet ASIA (WGA), trade exhibition and gastronomic event • Official introduction of participating establishments, chefs, wineries, partners and programme • Key media from the region are invited to attend • Total invitation to 100 guests press conference

Grand opening party with Macanese themed cuisine • A special welcome from Macau to all overseas participants • Presented by all participating Hosting Establishments and local partner restaurants • Opportunity for product partners to showcase their premium products to potential buyers and industry professionals • Attended by food and beverage and hospitality trade professionals, visiting exhibitors, visiting guest chefs and wine makers, members from the high society, regional media, etc • Formal but enjoyable setting, featuring the best Macau has to offer • Proposed venue – The Venetian Macao-Resort-Hotel • Invitation to a total of 350 to 400 guests Trader’s night

Held at participating Hosting Establishments • Targeted at food and wine connoisseurs, and anyone who enjoys fine wine and fine food • Wines of participating wineries paired with cuisines of respective Masterchef • 6 to 8 wines are featured at each session • Welcomes maximum 100 guests per session vintner dinners

  9. Held at participating Hosting Establishments • Masterchefs presenting their signature dishes at a series of luncheons and dinners • Each Masterchef to present a 4-day lunch and/or dinner promotion, of which only lunch is served on the day of the Gala Dinner masterchefs promotions

Formal event that brings WGA2008 to a climax • Featuring the cuisine of all participating chefs and wineries • A sell-out event in 2007 • Attended by government officials, local and regional social elite and journalists, WGA exhibitors and their clients, food and wine lovers, event partners, hospitality and food and beverage professionals • Targets to welcome 300 guests gala dinner
