This study presents a feedback control system that utilizes proportional feedback from the center of mass (COM) acceleration to enhance balance in individuals with spinal cord injury (SCI). By employing an artificial neural network (ANN), the system modulates muscle stimulation levels, effectively assisting users in maintaining equilibrium against postural disturbances while standing. The findings contribute significantly to advancing functional neuromuscular stimulation techniques, showcasing a promising approach for rehabilitation in individuals facing postural challenges.
