  5. Bank and International Phone Plans • If you child is going to be travelling with a ATM or Debit card (which is recommended) please inform your bank that he/she will be traveling to Germany and Austria. • Talk with your cell phone provider about international calling and text plans.

  6. Voltage, Frequency and Plug/Outlet Type in Germany • Electricity in Germany is 230 Volts, alternating at 50 cycles per second. If you travel to Germany with a device that does not accept 230 Volts at 50 Hertz, you will need a voltage converteror Transformer.

GVHS Forms • Rules for Overnight Trip: Read and sign (both parent and student) • Loco Parentis: Please sign (Mr. Jones will act as witness) • Student and Parent Field Trip Agreement: parent and student sign and print name. • GVHS Medical Form: Please completely fill out and sign • Parent Permission for Student to Carry and Administer his/her own Medication: Please fill out and sign • Photo copy of passport and insurance cards

Day 1 Departure (June 23rd) • Meet at GVHS Cafeteria at 5:45 pm on Monday June 23rd. • Depart for airport at 6:15 pm • Arrival at Philadelphia International airport 7:00 pm dinner at the airport • Departure time 10:00 pm (dinner and breakfast) • Arrival in London at 10:15 am (3 hour layover) Lunch • Depart for Berlin at 1:15 pm • Arrival in Berlin at 4:00 pm • Check into hotel followed by dinner Day 2 Arrival in Berlin (June 24th)

  16. Day 10 Depart for Home • Depart Vienna at 7:45 am • Arrive in London at 9:05 am Brunch at airport • Depart London at 12:40 pm • Arrive in Philadelphia at 3:35 • Parents are responsible for picking up their child at the Philadelphia International Airport
