  4. Windows 3.1 • Giving people other than Computer Scientists to be able to use computers • People allowed to go on the computer easily

  5. Fiber optic cable • Letting people the ability to connect to the internet and taking out the old giant copper cables • Takes less space and is cheaper than the copper cables

  6. NEtscape • Allowing people to connect to each other • Keep track of everything that is happening in other areas of the world • Gathering information from a variety of sources

  7. Outsourcing • Giving jobs to people who could do it better and cheaper • The jobs could also be done faster for the company

  8. Open sourcing • Allowing other people to use what you create for free • Can be modified into better versions • For example Linux

  9. offshoring • Giving jobs to people in different areas of the world • The places where the labour is cheapest usually gets the job

  10. Supply Chaining • Producing nothing but buying from other companies and sell it • Everything can be bought from places where labour is cheap • For example Wal-Mart

  11. In-sourcing • Where a company performs other tasks than what it is meant to do • More profit can be made because the company does it better • For example UPS doing things for other companies

  12. Steroids • Where things can be performed from anywhere that require the internet • For example accessing Facebook via IPhone
