  1. 5 Players to Watch Out for in the ISL 2015

  2. Introduction • As the second edition of Indian Super League kicked off just last week, here we present the list of top 5 players of the season. The ranking is made based on the current form and their performance in the previous seasons. However, here are names, who were not being a part of the previous seasons. Their inclusion in the list is based on their performance in other leading matches that have happened recently.

  3. Sunil Chhetri (Mumbai City FC)

  4. Why He Is In Top 5 • The second edition of ISL is all about Sunil Chettri. He is being hired by Mumbai FC this year with a much higher price. Though Chettri was missed by Mumbai City FC lasts year, his outstanding form has been instrumental for him being hired by Mumbai City FC this year. • This time, Mumbai has picked up for 1.2 crore and no doubt, India is still looking forward to his extraordinary feats during the season.

  5. Elano Blumer (Chennaiyin FC)

  6. Why He Is In Top 5 • The last year’s Golden Boot Winner Elano is also a big hit this year. Chennaiyan FC has already spent few crores on this winning horse and along with that Elano has already have few thousand dollars as a sponsorship. He is the only marquee player to be retained by his franchise. • During the first season, this awesome Brazilian scored 8 goals. He was the former Manchester City player’s, whose free kicks were indeed a treat to the eyes. And that’s what helped Chennai to make it to the semi-final.

  8. Why He Is In Top 5 • This year Teferra is Chennai’s key player who played an instrumental role in making Atletico de Kolkata the winner of that season. • And what’s more? This Ethiopian player has the tournament’s first ever goal to his credit. • Also his Zidane-like headbutt was incredibly praiseworthy.

  10. Why He Is In Top 5 • The second season of ISL will see Jakichand Singh with Pune FC. Known for an awesome performance, Singh is a players with material. Excellent form, outstanding performance and obviously a killer instinct made Pune FC choose and pick him up for 45 lakhs. • He was chosen the Best Player in the last I-league and the club for which he played for end up as the second runner up in their maiden season.

  11. Sandesh Jhingan (Kerala Blasters)

  12. Why He Is In Top 5 • Jhingan is an outstanding defender, which helped him  get hired by the Kerala Blasters. And the most interesting  part is the  amount,  which   kerala has  spent on him.  • The Chandigarh  lad  is the  first ever  player who  is  having  a  crore  plus  contract with a  famous  team.  This  is the  debut year of Jhingan.
