  1. FREE POS PROGRAM INSTALLATION GUIDE WITH WINDOWS 7 CONFIGURATION

  2. Step 1. Double click POS_SetupSP2W7 folder Note : The folder name has the compilation date and time. Ex. 20120302 1143 Step 2. Double click POS Setup 20120302 folder.

  3. FOR WINDOWS 7 CONFIGURE SETUP.EXE FOR COMPATABILITY Step 12. Right-Click SETUP.EXE Click Properties.

  4. Click Compatibility. Check the Run on compatibility. Select the Windows XP SP2. Click OK.

  5. FREE POS INSTALLATION Step 3. Double click Setup.exe Step 4. Click OK.

  6. Step 5. Click the Large button. Step 6. Click continue

  7. Step 7. Click Ignore. Step 8. Click Yes. Step 9. Click Ignore

  8. Step 10. Click Ignore. Step 11. Click Ok.

  9. FOR WINDOWS 7 CONFIGURE POS.EXE FOR COMPATABILITY Step 12. Right-Click POS.EXE

  10. Click Properties.

  11. Click Compatibility. Check the Run on compatibility. Select the Windows XP SP2. Click OK.

  12. RUN THE POS PROGRAM Step 12. Click Start. Step 13. Click All programs. Step 14. Click Tanay Technologies.

  13. Step 15. Click Tanay Technologies FREE POS v2008. Then this screen appear

  14. Step 16. Type 2 to select the Department Store. Please take note the default users Admin Account User : elmer Password : tanay Cashier Account User : cashier Password : cashier Step 17. Click OK

  15. Step 18. Re-run the program. Double click FREE POS v2008. MySQL or POS_Files path window will appear Step 19. Type the partition where the MySQL Database is installed.

  16. Programmers and Tech Support window will appear. This window will guide all the user for the after sales technical support. Tip window will appear. This will help the user to give some random tips before they use the system. The security window will appear.

  17. Input the user’s code and password. If the user is cashier this window will appear.

  18. Input the user’s code and password. If the user is administrator this window will appear.
