  19. Findings • "wave pattern" in the 7th harmonic component. current and voltage of 6.6 kV level pump station. The aforementioned 2 Hz variation in the signals is also clearly observed

Conclusion • Measurement results show that the voltage at the motor terminals contain a significant 7th harmonic component where the amplitude runs up to 8% when all three engines are in operation. • The requirements for over-harmonics in EN50160 based on 10 minute values therefore it was not picked-up. • Harmonics analysis performed • The measured 7th harmonic component of asynchronous motor in the pump station due to resonance between over- underlying network or capacitor for phase compensation of the moto- clean. • The measurements in the plant without capacitor banks shows that level for the 7th harmonic component is reduced. • The harmonic analysis indicates that the reason for the 2Hz signal is resonance.
