This study delves into the unknown functions of bacterial genes, focusing on BcrA and HgdC, as well as the homolog Gmet_0544. With a genomic approach, we analyze their sequences and predicted functions to unravel their roles in bacterial physiology. Our research highlights the importance of these genes in various biological processes and may contribute to the understanding of antibiotic resistance and bacterial metabolism.
