  1. Apocarotenal Market Introduction: Apocarotenal Market was worth USD xx billion in 2018 and estimated to be growing at a CAGR of xx%, to reach USD xx billion by 2025. Apocarotenal is a carotenoid found in spinach and citrus fruits. Carotenoid is an organic pigment that are produced by plants and algae, as well as several bacteria and fungi. Similar to other carotenoids, apocarotenal plays a role as a precursor of vitamin A, even though it has 50% less pro-vitamin A activity than β-carotene. Apocarotenal has an orange or orange-red colour. It is used in foods, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics. On the basis of product forms, apocarotenal is used in fat based food such as margarine, sauces, salad dressing, beverages, dairy products and sweets. However, people with high β-carotene and high plasma levels of β-carotene have a significantly reduced risk of lung cancer. It is approved for usage as a food additive in the North America and Europe countries.
