  1. E.E.P.P By: Emma Williams Shelby Lounsbury Ariea Diggs

  2. Newton’s 1st Law • The first law of motion is that an object in motion says in motion unless acted upon by an outside force. An object at rest stays at rest unless acted upon by an outside force.

  3. Newton’s 2nd Law/E.E.P.P Force= Mass x Acceleration

  4. Newton’s 3rd Law • For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction

  5. Relating Mass to Inertia • The more mass an object has the greater the inertia

  6. Calculating Force, Mass and Acceleration F=M(A) F=1.91(9.8)=18.71g

  7. Examples of Force • In the picture, the bottle drops and it hits the floor. The force of the bottle and the floor makes the bottle bounce.

  8. Newton’s 1st Law/E.E.P.P • The bottle was in motion until it hit the floor which is the outside force.

  9. Newton’s 2nd Law/E.E.P.P • The force was the bottle equals the mass which is the weight times acceleration which is the speed of the bottle; 9.8

  10. Newton’s 3rd Law/E.E.P.P • The action is the bottle falling and the reaction is the bottle bouncing up.
