  1. Sid roth- INS Mentoring Session With Misty Edwards sid-roth1.blogspot.com/2019/12/sid-roth-ins-mentoring-session-with.html MISTY: Hmmm. This first song that I want to sing this afternoon is, or this evening is about Israel. It’s taken from Isaiah chapter 49 and God’s promises over the nation of Israel. So Lord we just come in agreement with you right now and we say “Yes and Amen.” We agree with all of your promises over the people of Israel, over the Land of Israel. And Lord, I ask that around the world you would set watchmen on the wall who would cry out both day and night for the sake of the salvation of Israel. For surely you have not forgotten them. You have not forgotten them. [MISTY SINGS] Can a woman forget her child and have not compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget. Oh, but I will not forget you. No, I will not forget you. Sing O ye heavens, be joyful O the earth. Break out in singing, O you mountains. The Lord has comforted His people, and he will have mercy on his afflicted. He will have mercy on his afflicted. And though I will. And though Zion has said I’ve been forsaken. Zion has said I’ve been forgotten. But can a woman forget her child and have not compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget. Oh, but I will not forget you. Jerusalem. I will not forget you. See I have inscribed you on the palm of my hands. Your walls are ever before me. See I have inscribed you on the palm of my hands. Your walls they’re ever before me. And though Zion has said I’ve been forsaken. Zion has said I’ve been forgotten. But in that day you will no longer say, “Blessed be the Lord our God who brought us from Egypt.” And in that day you will no longer say, “Blessed be the Lord our God who parted the Red Sea.” For though I scatter you, I will gather you, and though I surround you with the nations. Can the axe boast against its maker? Why do the nations rage? But in that day you will no longer say, “Blessed be the Lord our God who brought us from Egypt.” For those who survive will find grace in the wilderness, to look upon the one whom we have pierced. And in that day my foot will stand on the Mount called Olives. And the mount will split in two. And in that day there’ll be a holy procession through Jerusalem. Jerusalem. Jerusalem. And in that day you will say, “Blessed be Yeshua ha Mashiach. Hosanna, Hosanna, Hosanna, Hosanna.” It shall come to, it shall come to pass. It shall come to pass. But can a woman forget her child and have not compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget. Oh, but I will not forget you. No, I will not forget you. He’s gonna turn it all around, just wait and see. He’s gonna make everything beautiful, just in time. He’s gonna turn it all around, just wait and see. He’s gonna make everything beautiful, just in time. It’s just a matter of time. Time is gonna tell the truth. Yeah, it’s just a matter of time. Time is gonna tell the truth, says the Lord. He says to you I knew what I was getting into, when I called you. I knew what I was getting into, when I say your name, I said it just the same. I knew what I was getting into, and I still like you. I knew what I was getting into, says the Lord, he says to You and I am not shocked, by your failure. No, I am not shocked even by your sin. Ohh. For only I can see the end from the beginning, and 1/11

  2. only I can see where this is going. You see a failure, but I see a fighter, and you see in yourself a hypocrite, but I see a true lover of me. Listen! I knew what I was getting into, when I called you, my beloved ones, I knew what I was getting into, when I said your name, I said it just the same. I knew what I was getting into, and I still like you. He says I knew what I was getting into, yeah, yeah. Just one thing I ask of you, ask. Just don’t give up, no, don’t give in, if you don’t quit, you’ll win, you’ll win. That’s all that I’m asking. Just don’t give up, no, no, no, don’t give in. If you don’t quit, you’ll win, you’ll win. Only believe he’s gonna turn it all around, just wait and see. He’s gonna make everything beautiful, yes he is, just in time. I believe he’s gonna turn it all around, just wait and see. Mmmm. He’s gonna make everything beautiful, just in time. It’s just a matter of time. Time is gonna tell the truth. Yeah, it’s just a matter of time. O my beloved ones, he says, he says, because everything is in my hands, it’s gonna be all right, in the end it’s gonna be okay, yea, though you walk through the Valley. Everything is still in my hands. it’s gonna be all right, you’re gonna be okay. He’s gonna turn it all, He’s gonna turn it all, He’s gonna turn it all, turn it all around. Yea, though we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, we will fear no evil even through the end of the age. Even as a deep darkness begins to cover the earth, we lift up our eyes to the hills. You are our God. And you are faithful and you are true and you are just and you are kind. And even in our weakness, even in our failure we run to you and not away from you. Because we know you and your kindness. For such a time as this we come into the courts of the King with boldness upon our lips. And we know even though— All men are broken. And broken men break their children. Who grow up to be broken men. But I’m bigger than that, says the Lord. I’m bigger than that. He’s so much bigger. He’s gonna turn it all around. Mmmm, Hooo, Yeah. So we love to love you. Even now, even now we sing— I love you Lord, and I lift my voice, oh, to worship you, O my soul rejoice. Take joy my king. Mmmm. In what you hear. And may it be a sweet, sweet sound, may it be, may it be a sweet, sweet sound, may it be a sweet, sweet sound in your ear. Let’s sing that again. And I love you Lord. And I lift my voice. Mmm. To worship you, O my soul rejoice. Take joy my king. Right here, right now. In what you hear. Ohh. And let it be a sweet, sweet sound, let it be, let it be a sweet, sweet sound, let it be a sweet, sweet sound in your ear. Yeah, let it be a sweet, sweet sound. Let it be like a fragrance rising up in this room. Like a fragrance, let a fragrance rise, just sing a love song to Jesus, and let a fragrance rise, let it rise, sing I love you Lord, you know I do, sing it straight to his heart, and I lift my voice. Mmm. To worship you, O my soul rejoice, and take joy my king. In what you hear. Yeah, yeah. And may it be a sweet, sweet sound, let it be, may it be a sweet, sweet sound, one more time, may it be a sweet, sweet sound in your ear. Oh in your ear, let it be a sweet, sweet, sweet, sweet sound, let it be a sweet, sweet fragrance. Let it be a sweet, sweet fragrance. Let it rise up from our hearts even now. Oh, let it rise up, let it rise up. Let it rise up. Yeah—. Mmmm. Cause I don’t wanna talk about you, that you’re not in the room. I wanna look right at you. I wanna sing right to you. I don’t wanna talk about you, like you’re not in the room. I wanna look right at you. I wanna sing right to you. I believe you are listening. Mmm. And 2/11

  3. I believe that you move at the sound of my voice. Yeah, I believe you are listening. Listening. And I believe that you move at the sound of my voice. Give me dovesÆ eyes. Mmmm. Just give me undistracted devotion, for only you. Give me dovesÆ eyes. And give me undistracted devotion for only you. Only you. Only you. Hoooo. Now hear the Lord’s reply. He says, do you know how you’ve caught my eye. In the secret place. Where you chose to die. He says to you, do you know? My beloved ones, how you’ve caught my eye. In the secret place, where you chose to be mine. Do you know the way you move me? Do you know the way you move me, says, do you know the way you move me, do you know the way you move me? I saw you there even when you were just a young man. I saw you looking up to the sky and saying. God if you’re really there I wanna know you, and I saw you even in the night time in your childhood, and you put your head down on your pillow and you said, O God I really wanna belong to you. And I saw you even in the hour of your crisis of faith, when everybody said, why don’t you just walk away, but you stood firmly and you wouldn’t just walk away. And I saw even when your mother and your father they forsook you, but you would not forsake me. And I said thank you my beloved one. He says thank you, my beloved one. Thank you my beloved one. He says do you know, how you’ve caught my eye. In the secret place. Where you chose to be mine. Do you know the way you move me? Do you know the way you move me? Beautiful as Tirzah, lovely as Jerusalem, awesome as an army with banners. Your eyes they overwhelm me. They overwhelm me, says the Lord. Amen. MISTY: Amen. I’m just reminded of a verse in Song of Solomon where it’s, it’s the bridegroom speaking to the bride. You know, it’s the beloved speaking. I believe the Song of Solomon is specifically about the nation of Israel. But it’s also about the way the Lord feels about His people. But He says about the believer who’s looking at Him, and who won’t relent, you know, even in those seasons of struggle and darkness. You won’t draw back. You won’t quit. Even when your family, your, the circumstance, everything is saying “Why do you love Him? Who is your beloved anyway? He’s invisible! He, look what He’s done to you. He’s not even answering your prayer.” And that’s something in the Shulamite in the book the Song of Solomon. She says “No, I’m not, I’m not giving up. I’m not quitting. This is my beloved.” And she goes off in chapter 5 describing God. “My beloved is dazzling. He’s radiant. He’s chief among ten thousand!” You know, even in the hour of her crisis. And then He looks at her and He goes “you’re as beautiful as Tirzah, lovely as Jerusalem, awesome as an army with banners.” And this is the Creator saying to the created “turn your eyes away from me.” He says “your eyes, they overwhelm me.” Can you imagine overwhelming the heart of God? That’s unthinkable to me! I can’t even fathom that. I can’t even pretend to grasp what that means. The angels don’t do that to Him. The stars and everything that we’re overwhelmed by. The nations and all their wealth, all the pompous, the pomp of man, none of that moves Him or motivates Him or causes Him to say “turn away, you’ve overcome me.” But your eyes overcome Him. That’s, that moves me deeply because we’re very weak and we’re fragile. And we know it, right? Well, from the time that I can remember, you know I’ve been asking the question, of, you know, “What is the point of life? What is the purpose?” And I discovered very early on in life that to, to come to conclusions about the purpose of life I had to come to conclusions 3/11

  4. about the purpose of death. Or what I believed about life beyond the grave. Do you know what I’m sayingÆ? Because the conclusions about life beyond the grave would drastically affect the way that I live. So very early on when I was just a teenager I decided I needed to deal with God. I grew up in a Christian home. My dad was a Baptist pastor most of my youth. Umm, so I, I grew up knowing the Lord in a distant kind of way. So I knew where I was going when I died, but I didn’t know why I was here. I couldn’t connect the dots between there and here. So I went on a journey and I was like I’m never gonna find what I’m looking for until I find what He’s looking for. Because He’s creator, right? He designed us. He created us and only He knows what’s gonna satisfy the longings of our hearts and this longing for purpose. He has the blueprints of what it means to be a human. And only He can say “You did it. You did it right!” And so I just began to go on a wrestling match with the Lord, saying “What do you want from us anyway?” Like what— I used to think if the whole purpose of life is to get me heaven, then when I say, said the sinner’s prayer, why didn’t you just kill me? (laughs) Why not just pray the sinner’s prayer and go to heaven? If that’s the purpose, you know what I’m saying? Why this journey? Why this process? Why the up and down? Or why all of this? What is the point? What is the purpose? And the purpose is two-fold. You know as I was, as I began to search the scriptures from Genesis to Revelation I began to discover the “golden strand,” the “golden thread.” And it sounds very simplistic until you start really trying to live it. And over and over, you know in the Book of Deuteronomy when He looked at the nation of Israel and He said “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, with all your strength.” You know He was both prophesying it and commanding it. Every command of God has the promise of the enabling in it. Every time, every command has the promise of the enabling. And then you go all the way to the New Testament and Jesus is standing in front of Israel. He’s looking at them and He’s looking at them as a nation and He’s also looking at those who would believe in Yeshua through their, through their teachers and their prophets. And He says “You’ve heard you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, with all your strength.” And He says “The second command is just like it. You shall love your neighbor as you love yourself.” He goes “All the law and all the prophets are summed up in this.” So in other words, the, all the purpose of life, the purpose, why we exist we were designed and formed and fashioned for love. But not love, like not the hippie kind of love. When I was young and I discovered, okay, so love, the purpose of life was love. That was like a downer to me. You know what I’m saying? That— I’m just gonna be honest— that wasn’t like, “Oh yay, love.” I thought love was like this hippie-like “Yay, what will be will be,” you know just kind of nonchalant. And I wanted to do something with passion in it! I wanted to change the world! I wanted to impact society! I wanted to make a difference! I wanted to, I was like “I could change the world!!” You want love? Really? Love? You’ve got to be kidding me! Huuh! (inhales) AUDIENCE: (LAUGHTER) MISTY: Until I started really trying to do it! And then trying to do it according to the word of God. And I realized that love, the divine kind, not the fading kind, is the transforming 4/11

  5. power of our lives. Because that’s what motivates us because we’re designed to be motivated by love. You know Paul the Apostle in 2nd Corinthians 5, verse 9 through 11 says he that he made it his aim to be well-pleasing to the Lord. How many of you have that as your aim, to be well-pleasing to the Lord? And he goes on to say because we know that there’s gonna come a day where we’re gonna die. Right? I know that’s not a real “pepper-upper!” (laughs) But you’re gonna die. I’m gonna die. You’re gonna die. Everybody’s gonna die. Okay? We’re all on the same page. (laughs) AUDIENCE: (LAUGHTER) MISTY: Because life as we know it is not it. BUT because we know this and because we know there’s gonna be a Judgment Day, and the Judgement Day is not just negative. You know in that passage when it’s talking about the judgement seat, that’s where you go, the Olympic, the Olympian would go to get the reward. He goes there’s gonna be a day when you’re gonna stand before One Man. One pair of fiery eyes. One Man! And only that One Man is gonna look at you and say “You did it.” “You hit the mark.” Or “Your life was wasted.” In that day, even as a believer, many believers will feel a sting of regret in a moment, it will be gone for all eternity, but many, many believers will realize in that day that they lived a wasted life because they were aiming at the wrong target, preoccupied with the wrong thing. That is horrible to me! There’s nothing I’d fear more than “regret.” I mean I don’t want to get to that most important day of my life and feel a sense of regret. So I look at Him and I go I wanna make it my aim to please You above all else! You know we have many dreams in our lives. We have dreams about our families. These are good dreams. We have dreams about our businesses. We have dreams about our ministry. About our job opportunities. We have many, many dreams. We have dreams for the lives of our children and on and on and on the dreams go. But there’s one dream that should be above it all. And that’s the dream to please Him. So I went on this journey to, to please Him and discovered that what He wanted for me to love Him with of all my heart, my soul, my mind, my strength. And I said, okay! (raps table) I’m gonna do this. I’m gonna love You with my mind. So I was like (closes her eyes and reaches out)— AUDIENCE: (LAUGHTER) MISTY: I don’t know how to do this! (laughs) My mind— I love You. And it was like 30 seconds later and I’m thinking about pizza or something like what I wanted for dinner. I, I don’t know how to love You with my mind. How do I love You— He said love Me with your mind. Have you ever tried to love Him with ALL— He said ALL of your mind? That is intense! This is what I’m talking about. When we talk about love it’s invasive! It’s an all- consuming fire! He is an all-consuming fire! He is! He doesn’t look like fire. He doesn’t put on fire. He IS! And He is an all-consuming fire! And He IS love. He is fire, love and spirit are the three times it says God “IS,” describing the essence of who, who He is. God is love. So I went on a journey. I’m like I’m gonna love You with all my strength, with all my soul and I’m gonna love— out of the overflow of that, I’m gonna love myself in the grace of God and I’m gonna love others and transform society in the image of this love. But the 5/11

  6. goal of transforming society, the goal of evangelism is what? That people would love Him! That’s the goal! The goal of global transformation ultimately is that the earth would love Jesus with all their heart, their soul, their mind, their strength. And so we wanna, we wan—I wanna demonstrate that. I wanna figure out what it means to love the Lord with all of my mind! I wanna figure out what it means to love the Lord with all of my soul! But how many of you are like me? Weak and broken? And love is the opposite of that gravitational pull that we’re born with. To be self-centered. Focused on myself. My comfort. My ease. What I want. He demonstrated love when He came and He hung on a cross and He said “This is love!” This is love. This is love’s definition. Love pours out. Love gives for another. So ultimately love is a pouring of one’s self out for the sake of another. But we can’t do this on our own. I can’t do it on my own. I mean like I said I can go all day and talk about love. And I try, I say Lord, I’m wanna love You with my mind, but He’s not a natural thought. Do you know what I mean? It’s like I have to force myself to think about God. When I wake up in the morning I want Him to be my first thought. When I go to bed at night I want Him to be my last thought. When I’m driving in my car, you know that daydream that kind of goes on in the back of your head? See, like right now you are a universe of worlds! Right here in this room you’ve all got a world going on in the inside (laughs) and I don’t know what you’re all thinking. You’re all thinking every something different. You’ve got a universe in there. There is a vast world, a limitless ocean so to speak inside this, the being of every man. Close your eyes for one second, but don’t fall asleep (laughs). See that world inside? Open it. That’s where He lives. We all know that. That’s where God, if you’re born again, that’s where He lives. And He wants to help us, enable us to love Him to the, to a radical degree. To where it affects our actions. It affects the way we... what we do with our time, our money, how we will, we inter, inter— how we relate to the lost. But He is gonna help us. It says in the Book of Romans that the Holy Spirit has been given to us to pour the love of God into that sacred space. But how severely and utterly criminally have we underestimated the power of our inner life. There is a world within. It says if you’ve been born again you have the Spirit of God. That “Shekinah Glory” that filled the Temple is on the inside of you! What? Huh! What? It’s like the, the priests in the Temple would be going like “Really? If you would have been there and seen what I saw I don’t know if you’d be so, so nonchalant about that.” The “Shekinah Glory” that filled that Temple when the priest fell over is inside of YOU! AUDIENCE: Whooo! Whooo! MISTY: The eternal being of God Himself! And He wants to take our mind, to take our will, to take our emotion, our soul, our personality. To love Him with our soul means to love Him our personality. He wants to take all of the, the reins of our lives and He wants to fill it with His glory until we are one with Him. So we turn our attention upon the Spirit. The Spirit is not gonna fall down upon us and make you do just crazy things. Sometimes He’ll do that. But that’s not the most, that’s not all that He does. I believe that there’s a river of life on the inside and when we go into the Spirit who dwells within through the chariot that the Holy Spirit rides best on, which is the Word of God, we meditate upon the scripture. We fellowship with the Holy Spirit. Throw a little fasting in there, a little bit 6/11

  7. of prayer in there and ask Him to drench our hearts with that fire of love. The Song of Solomon, chapter 8, verse 6 says “Put me like a seal upon Your heart. Put me like a seal upon Your arm for there is love that is strong as death, jealousy as demanding as the grave.” We’re talking about a love that will transform the earth. And even bigger than a global transformation, a love that will endure the darkest hour of human history. Beloved, we are at the beginning of the darkest hour of human history. There is coming a “Great Falling Away” in the Church. It’s written in the scripture. We are at the beginning of a “Great Falling Away.” We are at the beginning of a global crisis centered around the nation of Israel as the nations rise up against Israel and against His Anointed and against the Book. In Psalm 2 is says they wanna cast off the Book, they wanna cast off the Messiah and they wanna cast off His people. It’s gonna be a dark, dark age. The Bible is not exaggerating about the, the Age that we’re entering in to. There is only one safe place. And it’s not gonna be in that day I can’t stand in front of the hour of persecution, or the hour of crisis, the dark hour and say “Well, Mike Bickle told me—” or “Sid Roth said —.” You know I can’t just go “Well, they said this—.” I have to know that I know that I know for myself! Whether you’re a teacher or a preacher or a singer or you ever have a microphone in your hand there is no safe place unless YOU encounter God and His love that is stronger than death. The Lord is raising up a world-wide company of people that are filled with the love of Messiah supernaturally poured into their hearts so they will even face martyrdom and not draw back because there is a love that is stronger than death. That they will stand for the purposes of God on the earth. I believe that while there is a great crisis at the very same time I believe there is coming a great revival, a global revival. It says the wheat and the tares spring up together. That means the good and the bad are gonna happen simultaneously. So Jesus takes the Globe like this and He shakes everything that can be shaken, it says in the Book of Haggai. He shakes everything so that which remains eternally will come to the surface. So while there’s a great falling away in the Church at the same time the Holy Spirit is pouring fiery love beyond what we’ve seen into the hearts of true believers all over the na— uh, from the poorest of the poor, to the rich, to every congregation, all denominations and burning and shining lamps, you know like John the Baptist was at the, before the first coming. He raised up a voice in that dark hour in that wilderness and it says he was a burning and shining lamp. Do you know what it says? That he heard the voice of the Bridegroom! He had this paradigm of love. He heard the voice of the Bridegroom. It says his joy was full! His joy was full? He was eating locusts and honey in a desert! Why was he so happy? Hah! AUDIENCE: (LAUGHTER) MISTY: I mean he was liberated. You can’t take anything away from this man. What do you take away from a man who’s already given everything up? You can’t touch a man like this. He was untouchable! Because he was living transcended. Holy. And the Lord is raising up a company of people who hear the voice of the Bridegroom. Who hear the voice of Yeshua. Who hear the voice of the Bridegroom and who have the love of God, the fire of God in their hearts to such a degree that they will face even persecution and not shrink back. History’s already proven this love. There’s been many, many martyrs 7/11

  8. through history who have gone to the end in this kind of love. One of the good things that, about Jesus and that Judgment Day when we stand in front of Him is that, you know eternity is the great equalizer— so I’m rewinding a little bit so we’re back to the point we’re all gonna die— Okay? We’re back to that point (laughs) AUDIENCE: (LAUGHTER) MISTY: So we’re all gonna die. We’re gonna face Him. Whether you’re, you go through the End Time scenario. Or maybe it’s your children. Maybe it’s your grandchildren that will go through it. But there’s a great equalizer called death. You get a rich man who was successful, attractive. Did it all right in this age, standing before Jesus, but didn’t know Jesus or turned his back on Jesus. You get the poorest of the poor who loved with all of their heart, their soul, their mind, their strength with loyal allegiance to Jesus. Guess what? There’s an equal opportunity for greatness in the eyes of the One Man that matters. That audience of One. The reason why we live before the audience of One is, again, because there’s only One Man who can evaluate us. You know I hear the story of, umm, Mike Bickle who I work with in the International House of Prayer in Kansas City. And his brother Pat Bickle was paralyzed during a High School basket— uh, High School football game. So he was 18 years old. He’s paralyzed from the neck down. And he was paralyzed for over 30 years. And they prayed for healing, they had so many prophecies, they thought that they, he thought he was gonna be healed. And there’s a mystery all around that. I mean I don’t pretend to understand it. Mike Bickle in the meantime has a thriving, you know, global ministry that’s being raised up around the world and his, his ministry’s just booming and growing and young people are coming and on and on and on. And Mike tells the story that at the end of, uh, Pat’s life he’s in the hospital. I mean picture this. He’s, he’s paralyzed from the neck down and at this point he was so sick that he couldn’t even talk. He couldn’t even drink. He, he was completely on the verge of death and Mike is talking to him and, and Mike is, again, in this booming time of his ministry. And he says “Pat, right now, you can be as eternally great as I can be. We have the exact same opportunity because Jesus is judging us, measuring us according our hearts, not according to the size of our ministry, not according to our impact.” Pat Bickle has the same opportunity to be great in the eyes of Jesus according to the size of his heart response as his famous brother has. I love that our God is like this. I love that He evaluates us by the size of our heart. The measure of a man is truly the measure of his heart. The measure of a woman is the measure of her love and her heart responses. That you didn’t get offended when everything didn’t go your way. Pat Bickle could have been angry and offended and bitter and he would have lost his eternal reward. But he stayed open-hearted and he has the chance to get the same kind of reward that Mike will get. Isn’t that stunning to me? That is so beautiful to me. It’s simple, so profound. Yet we complicate it so, so greatly. So I believe in this hour, this hour of crisis that’s coming on the earth, as the Lord is raising up men and women who truly live before His eyes. More than rhetoric. You know I, I live in a culture of, of language. You know we write lots of songs. I hear lots of sermons and after a while it just becomes you know that, you know the teacher and Charlie Brown (laughs) “Wah, wah, wah, wah.” You know it’s just 8/11

  9. like really, because there’s just so much. If you grew up in the church, you know again my dad was a pastor, I grew up in the church. And after a while the whole thing was just like “Wah, wah, wah. wha, wah.” I couldn’t even— it’s too much. So I’m talking about something beyond rhetoric, beyond language. I’m talking about when you leave this, this room tonight and you’re driving in your car your thoughts turn toward him. In that moment He says “I see it.” I’m, I’m talking about when you walk down the street and you see, you give that person that cup of cold water. He says that not one cup of cold water will go without reward. Not just unseen but reward! There are actual, literal rewards in heaven when you look a person in the eye, a lost person, and you tell them about Jesus. I mean it’s so simple. This seems so elementary but it changes my life. Suddenly I went from an Ecclesiastes heart, where I thought “vanity of vanities.” This was me as a teenager. What’s the point? Everything’s a “vanity of vanity.” I took my heart to the heights. If I become a lawyer, I wanted to be a lawyer, I said “I’ll become a lawyer, I’ll change the world, I’ll help the poor and then I’d die.” I said “So I’ll just become, I’ll become rich and just indulge and then I’d die.” I thought “Well then, I’ll, I’ll, I’ll become a musician and I’ll just express myself and just get it all out and be an artist and then I’d die.” (laughs) But when I realized that His eyes were on me and I realized that He was measuring me according to Matthew 22, 37 through 40, according to the “Shema Israel,” He was measuring me according to— He said that this was the first commandment and He said it was the greatest. I mean we’re talking about the Creator Himself going “This is the first thing on my agenda.” If He says it’s the first thing on My agenda then this should become my primary dream. And if I know that He is first agenda, and I believe the Holy Spirit’s primary agenda even in this dark age that we live in, is to put the first commandment back in first place, He’s gonna do it in the Church and He’s gonna do it in the remnant of Israel. He’s gonna put the first commandment in first place. The Holy Spirit is gonna do this. And it says it’s the “great commandment.” This is what makes us great. This is what He measures us by. Truly what He measures us by. Not just make me feel better measures us by. Like really at the end of my life this is what He measures us by. Did you learn to love? Did you really learn to love? Did you learn to love? Not how much money did you make? How many people, how many people did you get in a room? How many stadiums did you fill? How big was your family? How perfect was your marriage? No. Did you learn to love? Did you learn to love according to the way that I love? Which was with arms wide open, with His heart exposed, pouring Himself out. The Lord will show us how to love. He wants to teach this to us. With all of our heart, with all of our soul, with all of our mind, with all of our strength He wants us to love Him with all that we are. And then He wants us to turn and to love not just the people that are like us. You know the second commandment when I first used to read that I would be like and then love your neighbor as yourself, I would look around and I’d either find the coolest person that I wanted to hang out with and be like “Okay, I can do that. I’ll love that person” or I’d find people that liked what I liked. But I’m talking about the unlovely. You know that some of the best saints through history have gone to the most unlovely of the unlovely. The Lord will show you if you ask. I just dare you. I dare you in your car as you’re driving home. Lord, show me how to love. Say it again in the morning. Lord, give me a dream. Give me a picture. Just, just the idea of how to love You better and to how 9/11

  10. to love others better. How do I put You as first priority? If you ask these simple sentences throughout the day He really will whisper ideas into your heart. He’ll set it up in a divine way. He really will. He’s good like that. He’s good like that. He is faithful. If we ask Him, He will help us. He really, really is faithful. And there is— we— well, here’s the problem. We need to get a different vision of what it means to love. Because I need a different word. You know what I’m saying because I say I love a pizza, I love this, I love that. No, we need a different word. We’re talking about love divine, not the fading kind. We’re talking about the kind of love that makes you do bizarre out of this world kind of things. And the Lord’s gonna confirm this message. Right there in John when He talks about abiding in love, in John 14 and 15. And He’s talking about abiding in the Vine it’s in that context that He talks about doing greater works than these. It’s actually in context to the first commandment being in first place. It’s in context to the indwelling Spirit. He says “And these signs are gonna follow those who believe” and in context to that He says “Greater works than these you will do.” Ultimately that’s salvation. That’s the greatest of all works right there. It’s that the lost would come in. But He’s gonna confirm this message with signs and with wonders. I just wanna pray for us for a few minutes. But I wanna, I wanna pray. I have a couple of little things on my heart. So Holy Spirit— Let’s just present ourselves to the Lord for a second.... Lord, we just ask that You would give us a vision for the First Commandment. Lord, we admit that we have made this first and this great command too small in our own eyes. So Lord, I ask that You would give us a vision of a lifestyle of whole-heartedness before the audience of One. Before the audience of One. And come Holy Spirit, Spirit of burning. Pour the very fire of God, the very flame of God into our hearts until we are one with You. Come, Holy Spirit. Come, Holy Spirit— Amen. Amen. SID: Now that is one unique ministry? And we need more of that! Would you agree? AUDIENCE: Whooo! Whooo! (LOUD CLAPPING) SID: Pretty profound things she was saying. Pretty simple things she was saying. It makes life a lot easier. You know, it’s really simple. Audience of One. Who are you pleasing? Makes it easy. Just One. Would you stand up? I wanna pray what Misty’s saying. The Aaronic Benediction over you. But as some of you know that have been here before I’m making it a New Covenant version. But the Old Covenant version promises that He will seal you with His name and everything that that name represents. So you get in a receiving mode because if you could see in the invisible world you would see that you are being gifted as I’m praying for you. The Lord is blessing you right now! The Lord is smiling upon you right now! The Lord is giving you His Shalom, His peace, His completeness, His favor, His gifting! He’s giving you Himself right now! In the name that is above every name. Yeshua ha Mashiach, Tsidkenu. Jesus the Messiah, our Righteousness. And if you feel a burning in your hand right now you’re being gifted from on high in Jesus’ name. In the name Yeshua, Yeshua, Yeshua. Seal Your people right now. Yeshua ha Mashiach, Tsidkenu. Jesus the Messiah, our Righteousness! And all God’s people said, “Boy, am I full!” Full with the Spirit of the living God! 10/11
