  8. Things to Do in an Emergency… • 1. Tip from Tae Kwon Do: The elbow is the strongest point on your body. If you are close enough to use it, do! • 2. If a robber asks for your wallet or purse, DO NOT HAND IT TO THEM. Toss it away from you….chances are that they are more interested in your wallet/purse than you. Run Like Mad in The Other Direction.

  9. Things to Do in an Emergency… • 3. If you are ever thrown in the trunk of a car; kick out the back tail lights and stick your arm out the hole and start waving like crazy. The driver won’t see you, but everybody else will. This has saved lives. • 4. Do not just sit in your car doing other things. (checkbook, making a list) As soon as you enter your car, lock the doors and leave.

  10. Things to Do in an Emergency… • 4. cont. If someone is in the car with a gun to your head DO NOT DRIVE OFF! Gun the engine and speed into anything wrecking the car. The air bag will save you. The gun man will get the worst of it. As soon as the car crashes bail out and run. • 5. Parking Lots: be aware and look around, look into your own car

  11. Things to Do in an Emergency… • 5. cont. If you are parked next to a big van, enter your car from the passenger side or find someone to walk you out. (Friend, Police, Guard) Most serial killers attack their victims by pulling them into their vans while the women are attempting to get into their cars. • BETTER PARANOID THEN DEAD!!!

  12. Things to Do in an Emergency… • 6. Always take the elevator instead of the stairs. • 7. If a predator has a gun and you are not under his control, ALWAYS RUN! The predator will only hit you (a running target) 4 in 100 times. If hit most likely it will not be a vital organ. Run in a zig-zag pattern if possible.

  13. Things to Do in an Emergency… • 8. Sympathetic? STOP! Ted Bundy, the serial killer, was good-looking, well educated man, who ALWAYS played on the sympathies of unsuspecting women. Ok to help but have assistance. • Opinions or other emergency information ideas?

  14. END HAVE A GREAT HOLIDAY! BE SAFE AND LOOK OUT FOR KIDS!!!
